Planning Session Each portrait begins with a meeting or a phone conference. David will either work with photos the client has on hand or he will photograph the subject(s) in different poses and lighting conditions. Clients are welcomed to send their photo (files) to David either by e-mail or mail. After receiving the photos, David will work with clients to decide the best poses and backgrounds. After which the artist will begin to paint the portrait in his studio. Viewing and Delivery As the painting approaches completion, David will ask the client's opinion by sending an email or photo in which adjustments may be made to the client's satisfaction. Delivery or shipping is arranged upon final completion of the portrait. In general, a painting will be ready for review about 30 days after the photo is selected. Rush orders may be accepted with additional fees. Framing It takes time to order a frame. Therefore, at the planning session, frame moulding styles are available for the client to choose from.
